Ten Thousand
To Play:
- Each player rolls one die. Highest number rolled goes first.
- Players roll the dice and must set aside at least one scoring die. (See scoring combinations on the board). Their turn continues, rolling the remaining dice. Players may roll as many times in their turn as they wish. Players announce their progressive score for their turn after each roll.
- A player’s turn ends when they either decide to stop and score their accumulated points or until they have a scoreless throw. If the player rolls the remaining dice and cannot set aside at least one die that scores, the player scores nothing for that turn. Should all six dice be set aside as scoring then the player may roll them all again and continue their tally.
- Scoring combinations only count when made with a single throw. For example, a player who rolls and puts aside a 1 and then throws two 1s with the next throw only scores 300 not 1,000.
- The first player to land directly in the 10,000 spot (circled hole on the top row) wins. If you pass the circled hole, you must travel around and try again. (follow the arrows). ****For a shorter game, the first person in or past the circled hole wins.
